Week 2 Entry

This week has been my favorite so far and it would be hard to dethrone it (although it is early to be saying that). I am a huge advocate for having a vision and a plan for you life, nothing happens until you have a goal for where you want to go. This week was all about developing that life vision and plan. We made a list of the top 50 things we wanted to do in our lives on a "bucket list", which made me think deeper about what I wanted to accomplish in my life than I had before. The first 25 were pretty easy, but then I really had to start thinking about what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be over the course of my life. We also did the "Stars and Stepping Stones" assignment, with a supplemental starter jobs assignment that helped us identify the jobs we needed to be in and land to have us on a good trajectory to achieve all of our dreams. Having not only a final vision and goal for your life, but steps to actually get there and checkpoints to break up a bigger vision. If you break it up into more achievable steps, it seems a lot more realistic to move from one part of your life to the next while making your dreams come true one step at a time. You can achieve much more and much faster if you have the way paved out. This meant a lot to me to not only think about but write and visualize the path I want to take to accomplish what I want to life and be able to look back and be proud of where I have come from, what I accomplished, and where I ended up.
